1960s – Family Tradition Begins

1970s – Copenhagen Botanical Garden

Substantial renovations made to Copenhagen Botanical Garden.

1970s – First aluminum systems are being implemented in Denmark

1970s – Opening up engineering opportunities in USSR

Close cooperation with Clauhan Projects  A/S – Opening up engineering opportunities in USSR. At the time, one of these projects is the world’s largest facility of up to 200 or more hectares.

1985 – Mobile bench systems implemented

1986 – Thomas Larssen joins his uncle’s business

1986 – Begins Using AutoCAD

Use of AutoCad begins, revolutionizing the drafting/design process.

1991 – Thomas Larssen designs his first aluminum superstructure

Thomas Larssen designs his first aluminum superstructure which integrates all greenhouse technical systems into the greenhouse structure itself. This leads to new efficiencies, increased strength, along with weight and cost savings.

1992 – First CoGen installations

One of the first greenhouse CoGen installations is designed and implemented.

1992 – Rosager Larssen Established

Company becomes Rosager Larssen, with Jørn Rosager, as Hans Rosager retires, handing over the baton of tradition to Thomas.

2002 – Larssen begins to work with the first forced-air greenhouse designs

2003 – Larssen LTD is incorporated in Canada

Early 2000s – First cannabis designs begin at request of federally legal producers

2017 – Aurora Larssen Projects is formed

Aurora Larssen Projects is formed to work on mass-scale cannabis facilities in Canada and elsewhere.
